Plenty of dates for your diaries this week – firstly please note the change to the date for the Players Presentation Evening, this will now take place on FRIDAY 11TH JUNE 2010 and not the 4th as previously advertised.
Keep an eye on the clubhouse notice board for entertainment on Bank Holiday Saturday – a plan is underway and details will be confirmed soonest. Also the CHUBBY LIVE TRIBUTE act is going to be returning to The Wanderers – watch this space for more details.
Tommy Bowe, the Lions, Ireland and Ospreys wing has been voted as Welsh rugby’s player of the year by his peers in the professional game in Wales – read more HERE
The “Mighty Youth” continue in their quest for total supremacy with another two semi final wins to their name. Details of the finals should soon appear on their WEBSITE and the club notice board.
Attached to this e-zine is the poster for the Charity Hog Roast and Band Night and details on how to get tickets. It would be much appreciated if you could print and advertise the night wherever you can – thanks ☺
So until the next time – enjoy the summer.

Mark (Pikey) O’Leary, stalwart of the front row, has asked that we kindly give this message from his wife Mariella as much publicity as possible:
Hello ladies,
My friend Emma and I are going to participate in a Charity Hike in India this November. We are holding a couple of fundraising events in the next few months to raise funds for our charities, Wellbeing for Women and Prostate UK.
It would be great if you and your friends could come and support. ALL the money we raise will go to the charities so I would really appreciate any support that you can give me. If you and or your girl friends/work colleagues/ladies in your life would like to buy a ticket for the event please contact me.
There are other ways you can support me, for example, telling family and friends, donating raffle prizes, joining me on a practice walk, sponsoring and suggesting other fundraising ideas.
We are going to be selling tickets for a Hog Roast and Band event at Glamorgan Wanderers RFC, Cardiff on 3rd July 2010 so please keep the date free and buy some tickets.
Please forward this email to any of your family and friends and contact me if you would like to buy tickets for the events.
Thank you in advance for your support.
